Zenia Valov is a playable character in the Arcana Heart series. She is a cool-headed freelance agent with a no-nonsense attitude. She was once known as Elfriede Achenbach (エルフリーデ・アッヒェンバッハ, Erufurīde Ahhyenbahha), the older sister of Lieselotte Achenbach, who was separated from her several years ago.

Her Arcana is Almacia, the Arcana of Ice.

Bio

A no-nonsense Agent who came to investigate Angelia's rampage in Kanto. She is actually "Elfriede Achenbach", the older sister of Lieselotte Achenbach, suffering from amnesia after being separated several years back. She isn't the type to linger in one place longer than necessary - living for her next job or role.

Appearance

Zenia resembles Lieselotte, having the same white hair and amber eyes usually shut half way. The tops of her eyes and eyelashes are white, while her hair is long and pulled up into a spiked bun or ponytail.

Her attire consists of a pale blue sleeve-less shirt worn with a loose red tie and a short black form-fit skirt with slits going up the corners. She also wears a pair of sheer black tights, a blue finger-less glove, a gold and red gauntlet, and a black trench coat with the right sleeve cut out with the gauntlet equipped. White metal armor covers her feet with black and gold leg ornaments.

Personality

Zenia is a stoic and calm woman who is naturally very quiet. When she speaks, she avoids wasting time or words by cutting to the point and ending it there. She can be cold towards others at first, but genuinely doesn't mean any harm - or care if someone takes offense. She is also very efficient when it comes to completing tasks.

However, Zenia also has a softer nature. She is very gentle and kind with children and her little sister, and will do whatever she asks of her. She also adores stuffed animals and cookies.

There are a few moments where she can be considered cruel in a similar vain to her little sister, Lieselotte. This is shown when she attempted to kill Kira and Catherine for entering a Drexler Institute Laboratory without permission, or when she harassed Konoha in order to give Kamui a reason to fight her.

• One of her palette swaps gives her a resemblance to Riza Hawkeye from the Full Metal Alchemist franchise, Nina Antalk from Chrome Shelled Regios and Iori Yagami & Vanessa from The King of Fighters.
• Currently, she lives in Shiba Park, Minato, The Princess Tower (park suite) on the Kanagawa Rosenberg campus.
• She likes penguins.
• Her birthday was revealed in After Story.
• In an interview, she was supposed to be Petra's butler and in the middle of the development, Elsa and Clarice was made and scraped the idea of her being a butler.
• Her voice actress also voiced Boogiepop (Boogiepop Phantom, also in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax) and Little Sister (BioShock).
• Due to the similarities between their characters, Zenia is often thought to be the inspiration behind Bullet from Blazblue. Both characters are white-haired mercenaries with pilebunker gauntlets.
