Parace L'sia is a character and recurring boss in the Arcana Heart series. She first appeared in Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2 as the true last boss. She would later return as a boss in the Score Attack mode in Arcana Heart 3 and of the Gold run in the Trail mode which first appeared in Arcana Heart 3 Love Max. She would make a playable appearance as an Arcana for Pistrix in Arcana Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars XTEND.

While a human, she lived in Switzerland during the Renaissance and worked as an alchemist, but after death, her soul was sent to the Arcana world, where she is reincarnated as Paracelsia, the Arcana of Life. She refers to herself as the "Millennium Keeper", and has a long-standing rivalry with Kamui Tokinomiya.

Appearance[]

Parace is a young woman with long, silver hair and purple eyes, and has a well-developed body for her age.

As a human, she wears red glasses, a necklace with a green gem, a red shirt buttoned down a bit, a white lab coat, a black skirt, black stockings and red shoes. The noticeable thing on her is a large gold ring on her right wrist.

Outside her human form, she wears a revealing white piece of cloth, a white, flowing cape, white sleeves and white thigh-length boots. The gold ring would be on her left ankle.

In one of Pistrix's victories, she's dressed in a purple Rosenberg nun outfit and brown boots similar to Clarice's, but lack of yellow cross.

Personality[]

Parace is an inquisitive individual wanting to try achieving new powers ever since she was a human. But when she reincarnated as an Arcana and achieved a new power, she started to gain a form of arrogance as evident when she declares herself as the “Millennium Keeper”, and was power-hungry when she tried to control all life and distort dimensions, even at the cost of innocent lives.

But after her defeat, she started to care more for humanity and had since befriended ones like Mildred, another reincarnated Arcana that was a former human.

Story[]

Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2[]

In an attempt to control life and distort dimensions, she has visited the physical world several times to collect and refine magical stones, causing many incidents.

Quotes[]

  • “My name is Parace L'sia. An alchemist of the Holy Spirit who manipulates elements and control life. I'm also called the Arcana of Life.”

Trivia[]

  • In AH2 Suggoi, she only appears after beating Angelia (or Kamui if you're playing as Angelia) without losing a round.
    • Unlike Angelia, if you get a time-out win, you won't get a bad ending.
  • She has been considered by fans to be one of the cheapest bosses in fighting game history (implying she has the "boss syndrome" behaviour).
    • In the Score Attack mode in the vanilla version of AH3, the game encourages you to continue the fight against her upon losing, whereas it is not the case in other fighting games. After losing (and continuing) three times, her health would get a bit lower, and will continue to get lower after every loss until you eventually beat her. Due to this, it would take multiple tries to defeat her and complete the mode. For example, it took The Quarter Guy, a content creator on YouTube, at least 22 attempts to beat her.
      • This was fixed in Love Max and Six Stars, as she's the boss of the Gold run in Trail mode in those revisions, making skill and pure luck the only ways to beat her.
  • She has the second largest bust in comparison to the rest of the females in the series, with Mei-Fang being the bustiest.
    • She is also the tallest character in the series.
  • She made a cameo in After Story during the Hot Spring section that was included in Love Max.
  • The colors of the crystals she has with her during battle are similar to the ones Culex has during his boss fight in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
