Dieu Mort is one of the selectable Arcanas in the Arcana Heart series. He is the Arcana of Evil and his user is Yoriko Yasuzumi.

History

Dieu Mort was once a man sentenced to be executed. While he was alive he was called the God of Death. Upon dying, his soul lived on as the Arcana of Evil. In exchange for Yoriko's magical powers, Dieu Mort condemns his opponents to death using whatever underhanded methods he can think of.

Gameplay

Passive Abilities

• Rancoeur - E or ↓ + E (chargeable) - Fully charged grounded E button attacks poison opponents. Poisoned opponents slowly take damage.

Specials

• Empooisonner - →↙→ + E (midair also) - Summon a poisoning mist a short distance away. Poisoned opponents slowly take damage.
• Dechirure - ↓↘→ + E or ↓↙← + E, then input a direction (midair also) - Summon a portal to teleport elsewhere. Commands and directional inputs change how the teleport behaves. Can be used as a replacement aerial recovery.

Supers

• Sacrifons - ↓↘→↓↘→ + E - Summon a spacial distortion a short distance away to swallow up opponents on the ground.
• Miroir - ↓↙←↓↙← + E (midair also) - Summon a portal to switch places with your opponent.
• Invalider - →←↙↓↘→ + E (midair also) - Summon a large skull to capture opponents and drain their Arcana gauge and poison them.

Extend Force

• Abattoir - ABC - During [Abattoir], During Abattoir, normal attacks poisons opponents, Poisoned opponents slowly take damage.

Arcana Blaze

• Condanacion - During [Abattoir], ↓↙← + BC - Unleashes poisonous bag. Drains health and force gauge of opponents caught in the gas.
• Execution - During [Abattoir], ↓↘→ + ABC - Summon Dieu Mort, who will grab an opponent and performs a scythe attack. Inputting up or down determines whether it is a high or low attack.
